This Refund Policy describes how TC Szabla LLC handles cancellations, refunds and billing disputes for paid subscriptions to the SalaryProof application (the “App”). It applies in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
Business plans are offered with a 30-day free trial. No charge is made before the trial ends. You can cancel at any point during the trial from your billing page; if you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly plan at the list price shown at checkout.
2. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel an active subscription at any time from Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date and no further charges are made.
3. Refund eligibility
- Trial period: no charge, no refund needed.
- Monthly plans: charges are non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. We do not pro-rate partial months when you cancel mid-cycle.
- Annual plans (where offered): you may request a pro-rated refund of the unused portion within 14 days of the first annual charge or renewal, less any usage already incurred.
- Duplicate or accidental charges: always refundable on request.
- Service failure attributable to SalaryProof: eligible for a pro-rated credit or refund at our discretion.
4. EU / EEA / UK consumer rights
Consumers in the EU, EEA and the UK normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(m)). Because SalaryProof is a digital service delivered immediately upon subscription, by completing checkout you expressly request that the service be supplied during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully performed (i.e. you have actively used paid features within a billing period), the right of withdrawal is lost. We will still honor good-faith refund requests made within 14 days where no material use of paid features has occurred.
5. Billing disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email tcszabla@gmail.com within 60 days of the charge. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days. Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your card issuer — most disputes can be resolved directly and faster.
6. Merchant of Record
Billing for SalaryProof may be operated by a Merchant of Record provider that acts as the seller of record for tax and compliance purposes. When this is the case, the provider issues the invoice, collects applicable taxes (e.g. VAT, GST, sales tax) and is the counterparty for refund and chargeback processing. We will continue to provide product support and handle refund eligibility decisions in line with this policy.
7. How to request a refund
Email tcszabla@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund request” and include: the email address on the account, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief reason. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
