These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SalaryProof application (the “App”), operated by TC Szabla LLC. By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. What SalaryProof is
SalaryProof is a personal productivity tool that helps you record work hours, scan payslips and employment contracts, answer a tax-credit questionnaire, estimate pay and annual tax, and review an Accountant Checklist of suggested follow-ups. All payroll figures, contract extractions, tax projections and checklist suggestions shown in the App are estimates for informational purposes only. Checklist items use neutral wording such as "review recommended" or "additional information may improve accuracy" and never assert that you owe tax or are in breach of any obligation.
2. No legal, tax or accounting advice
SalaryProof is not an accounting firm, law firm or tax advisor. Nothing in the App — including scanned payslip values, extracted contract terms, the tax-credit questionnaire, the annual tax projection or the Accountant Checklist — constitutes legal, tax, accounting or employment advice. You must verify all figures against your official payslip and the official tax authority, and consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
3. Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for any documents, payslips, employment contracts, images, questionnaire answers or other data you upload to or enter into the App. You confirm that you have the right to upload them and that doing so does not violate any law, employer confidentiality obligation or third-party right. You acknowledge that uploaded payslips and contracts are processed by an automated AI system (see Privacy Policy) to extract structured fields.
4. Accounts
You must keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at tcszabla@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains malware.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or probe the App or its backend.
- Use automated systems to scrape or extract data beyond normal personal use.
- Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the App without our written consent.
6. Subscriptions & billing
SalaryProof offers paid business subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Professional) and an optional Enterprise plan available on request, as well as an optional consumer Premium add-on for individual employees. Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page and on the checkout screen before payment.
- Free trial: business plans include a 30-day free trial. No charge is made before the trial ends, and you may cancel at any point during the trial.
- Billing cycle: subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the list price shown at checkout. Annual billing may be offered for selected plans.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Upgrades and downgrades: upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: see our Refund Policy for trial behavior, refund eligibility, EU consumer rights and billing-dispute handling.
- Price changes: we will provide at least 30 days' email notice before changing the price of an active subscription. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Taxes: prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. VAT, GST, sales tax), which will be calculated and added at checkout where required by law.
- Merchant of Record: billing for SalaryProof may be operated by a Merchant of Record provider that acts as the seller of record for tax and compliance purposes. When applicable, the provider issues the invoice, collects taxes, and is the counterparty for refund and chargeback processing. TC Szabla LLC remains responsible for the product and product support.
7. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the service or use it in a way that creates legal or security risk for us or other users. Upon termination, locally stored data on your device remains under your control.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CALCULATIONS, AI EXTRACTIONS FROM PAYSLIPS OR CONTRACTS, TAX PROJECTIONS, OR INSIGHTS ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TC SZABLA LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR WAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR (B) US$50.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold TC Szabla LLC harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the App, your content or your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
